In my dreams, all night long is a concept that expresses escapism in its truest form. It talks about how sometimes we are so blinded by our privilege and our ability to shut down immediately from our surroundings whenever we want to. However, being stuck in a dream-like state isn't a healthy coping mechanism and ignoring everyone’s suffering around you just because it doesn't affect you directly is inhumane. As much as we love the concept of peace, we must all collectively strive to reach that state together, by always engaging in fighting for what is right, even if it doesn't affect you directly.
